Pixelion Media is a small independent media studio. This policy describes exactly what this website collects, why, and how to have it removed. We have tried to make it specific rather than generic, so it says only what is actually true of this site.
What we collect
There are two ways this site collects personal information, and both are things you type in yourself.
- Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe, we store your email address so we can send you updates about our work.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we store your name, your message, and your email address if you choose to provide one, so we can read and reply.
We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not build advertising profiles or sell personal information to anyone.
How we use it
Subscription emails are used to send you our updates and nothing else. Contact submissions are used to respond to you. We do not use either for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent your information. It is handled by the service providers that run this site and deliver our email, acting on our instructions, and it may be disclosed if we are legally required to do so.
Social platforms
We publish to third-party platforms such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, and we use their official APIs to read our own account and post our own content. Those tools access our accounts, not yours. When you interact with us on one of those platforms, that platform’s own privacy policy governs your data there, not this one.
How long we keep it
Subscription emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept while they remain useful for the correspondence and our records. You can ask us to delete either sooner.
Your choices
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing info@pixelionmedia.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
